Objective and Apolitical

I came across this "objective and apolitical" look at casualties in the Iraq war from a comment on this post at Moot Montage. The visual, audio, and calendar speak volumes. Nice work by its creator.

Very nice.

Pharyngula linked to an interesting discussion of the way people manipulate graphic representations of casualty figures for different political ends.

I was suprised when fatalities appeared *inside* Kurdistan, and not just in Mosul and Kirkuk.
